Responsibilities


The Media Planner assists the Account Director in the preparation, development and execution of strategic media recommendations for our customers. Collaborating closely with our Account Teams and communication agency partners, the Media Planner works directly with Media Experts’ customers to understand their business objectives and develop successful media strategies and results-generating campaigns.


Profile

The successful candidate has a minimum of three years’ experience as a Media Planner. They are both creative and analytical. While adept at working independently, they have strong collaborative skills and work well within a team dynamic. They are extremely detail-oriented, have a strong aptitude for multi-tasking and thrive under pressure.


Excellent written and oral presentation skills are essential requirements in the Media Planner role.

Minimum Requirements


The minimum requirements for the Media Planner position include a Bachelor Degree with a marketing option, knowledge of both traditional and emerging media channels and an excellent command of Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint operating systems. Experience with IMS PMB & NADbank, AC Neilsen, BBM RTS, OOH R/F models is also required.

The successful candidate is fluently bilingual in English and French.

Search Marketing Analysts (SEO/PPC)


Online Marketing at Media Experts continues to grow and Canada's largest independent media services company is looking to expand its team of search marketing analysts. The Search Marketing Analyst (SEO/PPC) is an integral member of the Online Team, collaborating closely with our Tradigital account teams and responsible for the following duties:

Develop, implement, manage, optimize and report on Pay per Click (PPC) campaigns forour customers across a variety of online publishers including Google, BING, Yahoo, Facebook, LinkedIn and others. Perform Search Engine Optimization (SEO) audits & provide recommendations to help improve the quantity and quality of organic traffic to our customers' web sites. Conduct keyword research, analysis, bucketing and matching to develop quality keyword lists for both PPC and SEO purposes. Create promotional text ads for use with a variety of campaigns across different publishers. Develop, implement and maintain Link Building Programs for SEO customers. Monitor and report on SEO & PPC campaign performance through the use of Web Analytics Software, Bid Management Platforms & Organic Ranking programs. Communicate effectively with internal account teams (offline and online) in order to make sure integrated marketing campaigns preserve a 100% Tradigital approach.

The Search Marketing Analyst stays current on trends in the Search Marketing industry in North America through constant research, reading, webinars and industry events.

Requirements:

Bachelors Degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Statistics, or related field.
Minimum of 2 years experience in Search Marketing (SEO/PPC).
Minimum of 2 years of client service and/or customer management experience.
Proven track record of success in managing and optimizing SEO/PPC campaigns.
Excellent written & verbal communication skills in French & English.
Strong analytical & research skills with an innate ability to think outside the box.
Ability to work well under pressure in a very fast paced environment.
Excellent working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook & PowerPoint.
Working knowledge of Google Analytics, Omniture, WebTrends & comScore.
Experience using Ad Serving technologies like DART Search and DFA is an asset.
Google Adwords Advanced Certification and MSN AdCenter Certificate is an asset.
Knowledge of Social Media Marketing is an asset.
Experience with A/B and/or Multivariate testing concepts is an asset.

Supervisor, Digital Solutions

 

Media Experts, Canada’s largest independent media service company, is actively seeking a Digital Solutions Supervisor in its downtown Montreal office. This represents a great opportunity to join the future-focused and media-curious team at Media Experts working on some of Canada’s most exciting brands.

 

Responsibilities

The Digital Solutions Supervisor manages and oversees the day-to- day digital business of select Media Experts Customers including the ideation, development, implementation and tracking of custom-designed media plans, media negotiation and buying, and close collaboration with customer and communication agency partners.

 

The Digital Solutions Supervisor also has responsibility for ensuring Quality Control on all billing and invoice reconciliation of their customers’ digital media plans while adhering to administration policies and standards for delivering on Media Expert`s customer service promise.

 

Profile

The successful candidate has selected media as their chosen career path. They have a deep understanding of display media, performance media, search engine marketing, ad exchanges, content integration, social media and mobile. They have a strong affinity for team work and collaboration easily integrating their efforts into Media Experts Account Teams.

 

They have strong leadership qualities, are a true team player, yet have the ability to work independently. As they collaborate directly with Media Experts’ customers and communication agency partners they have excellent presentation skills and are fluently bilingual in English and French.

 

Requirements

As a minimum requirement the successful candidate has at least three years’ experience planning and buying digital media and has completed a Bachelor’s Degree. This position requires a solid knowledge of DART or equivalent ad serving platform, Microsoft Office, comScore, and web analytics. Google Certification is a definite plus.

The successful candidate is also fluently bilingual (English and French)
