We are actively seeking a curious and passionate Supervisor, Mediasystems Designs to join our dynamic team in Montreal. This position requires a 360-degree overview of media to develop and manage client media strategies, plan execution and analysis, and mentor and develop a team of staff members. Core responsibilities include:

  • Develop media strategies and present integrated plans, as well as oversee implementation and management of the plan;
  • Develop/oversee recommendations that go beyond the conventional media flowchart to consider all forms of paid, non-paid/earned & owned media;
  • Seek out opportunity for business development;
  • Set realistic client expectations and make every effort to exceed them, by providing quality work in a timely and responsive manner;
  • Manage a staff of media professionals providing guidance on setting or re-defining priorities. Identify with staff, developmental opportunities and help them to work toward their professional goals;
  • Lead and maintain strong client relationships while maintaining thorough, real time knowledge of client business;
  • Manage and be accountable for media budgets and client billing.

Qualifications:

  • Over 3 years of senior media planning experience, including team management experience.
  • Deep 360-degree understanding of all media planning and buying disciplines (digital and traditional)
  • Educational background in a related field (media, advertising, marketing) or equivalent work experience
  • Proven ability to develop and maintain strong professional relationships with clients, colleagues and vendors
  • Experience in managing or developing staff, with strong leadership, mentoring and coaching skills
  • Strong planning background with the ability to lead the media planning process
  • Proven knowledge of traditional and digital planning and research tools and resources.
  • Exceptional communication skills in English, both oral and written

JUNIOR DEVELOPER, BI SYSTEMS

We are on the hunt for a Developer for a junior-level position within its Business Intelligence team. Under the supervision of the Developer of Data Science, you will be tasked with the creation and management of proprietary Business Intelligence tools such as client dashboards and internal efficiency drivers. Ideal candidate will have solid back-end programming experience and a keen interest in data management and visualization. The ability to work autonomously and think outside of the box is a must.

Job Responsibilities

  • Manage the interchange of data between the server and the users
  • Primary focus will be development of all server-side logic, definition and maintenance of the central database and ETL infrastructure
  • Develop API connections using Python to source data from 3rd party web sources
  • Retrieve, model and maintain large data sets (ETL processes)
  • Monitor, troubleshoot and resolve dashboard issues. Perform regular maintenance checks
  • Provide support/training to customers and power users
  • Support efforts in driving efficiencies across departments

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent
  • Up to 1 years of experience in back end development
  • Deep knowledge of user authentication and authorization between multiple systems, servers, and environments
  • Proficiency with SQL database, and back-end programming languages. Hands-on experience that include: Python and SQL
  • Know how to work with RESTful APIs
  • Experience in managing host environments, implementing automated testing platforms and unit tests
  • Excellent verbal and written communication
  • Bilingual (English and French)
  • Excellent analytical and time management skills
  • Teamwork skills with a problem-solving attitude

Essential Functions

  • Work with agency teams and clients to ensure their needs are being met.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree with preference for Media and/or Marketing specialization.
  • 1-2 years of paid social media experience, preferably with other agencies.
  • Experience launching and managing paid social campaigns in Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn, Pinterest, Snapchat or any paid social management platforms.
  • Excellent working knowledge of the Microsoft Office Suite of programs.
  • Analytical skills with the ability to draw conclusions based on data.
  • Outstanding communication skills. Fluent written and spoken French required for the Montreal office. French interview and test required for consideration.
  • Knowledge and experience of ad targeting and tagging methodologies is an asset.
