We are actively seeking for dynamic, best-in-class talent to join the Society team as Associate in our Paid Social team. As Associate, you will assist in the day-to-day stewarding of both account and media activity on assigned campaigns for our clients and help take social media strategy, planning and execution to the next level. This entry-level opportunity will kick-start your career in digital media and provide a platform to partner with the world’s leading consumer brands.

Essential Functions

  • Work closely with Specialists & Team Leads on the development, implementation and optimization of social media campaigns.
  • Use research tools to help develop profile of target audiences with view into their social/online behaviors, media consumption, etc.
  • Help gather and distribute research around the industry, our clients and their audiences.
  • Help generate contracts, setup, launch, monitor, optimize, reconcile and bill campaigns to ensure that client receives all planned media and is invoiced properly.
  • Maintain detailed files of all pertinent records (media plans, performance reports, creative, contracts, reports, etc.) relevant to clients’ business with SOCIETY.
  • Help pull data for reports and prepare meaningful insights and recommendations.
  • Learn all about paid social capabilities including platforms, technologies, and targeting options within SOCIETY to help teams find best in class solutions for our clients.

 

Requirements:

  • Post-secondary certificate or degree with preference for Media and/or Marketing specialization or similar achievement.
  • Thrives under pressure and performs well in a in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Excellent working knowledge of the Microsoft Office Suite of programs.
  • A passion for social media and an eagerness to learn. Active user / participant in social media is a plus.
  • Excellent writing and communication skills in both English and French (French not required in Toronto).  In Montreal, a French interview and essay/test will be a pre-requisite for consideration.
  • Ability to multi-task, excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and accuracy when working with numbers.
  • Excellent quantitative/analytical skills with the ability to draw conclusions based on data.
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a cross-functional team

IT Support Specialist (3-month contract)

Media Experts is a leading Canadian media agency helping major Canadian brands deliver messaging across broadcast, print, out of home and digital. We are data-driven and powered by the spirit of discovery. Our unique approach revolves around designing effective, hard-working mediasystems that drive brand engagement and deliver outstanding business results. We are currently seeking a IT Support Specialist (3-month contract) for our office in Mile Ex, Montreal.

The role of IT Support is to assist staff on any technical issues related to hardware or software. Support Technician responds to incidents transferred from service desk and uses specialized skills, knowledge, tools and authority to diagnose and resolve problems remotely or at users’ desk.

RESPONSIBILITIES 

  • Install desktops and laptops with Win10 image for the migration process.
  • Software installation.
  • Network Configuration.
  • Manage and track any assigned tickets from helpdesk.
  • Peripherals and Components.
  • PC Troubleshooting.
  • Remote Access and Administration.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Excellent interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills.
  • Knowledge of network hardware, software, and peripherals equipment.
  • Knowledge of Active Directory, and windows domain infrastructure.
  • Knowledge of Office 365 an asset.
