Developer, BI Systems

Media Experts is looking for a Developer to work within its Business Intelligence team. Under the supervision of the Developer of Data Science, you will be tasked with the creation and management of proprietary Business Intelligence tools such as client dashboards and internal efficiency drivers. Ideal candidate will have solid back-end programming experience and a keen interest in data management and visualization. The ability to work autonomously and think outside of the box is a must.

Job Responsibilities

  • Manage the interchange of data between the server and the users
  • Primary focus will be development of all server-side logic, definition and maintenance of the central database and ETL infrastructure
  • Develop API connections using Python to source data from 3rd party web sources
  • Retrieve, model and maintain large data sets (ETL processes)
  • Monitor, troubleshoot and resolve dashboard issues. Perform regular maintenance checks
  • Provide support/training to customers and power users
  • Support efforts in driving efficiencies across departments

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent
  • 2-3+ years of experience in back end development
  • Deep knowledge of user authentication and authorization between multiple systems, servers, and environments
  • Proficiency with SQL database, and back-end programming languages. Hands-on experience that include: Python and SQL
  • Know how to work with RESTful APIs
  • Experience in managing host environments, implementing automated testing platforms and unit tests
  • Excellent verbal and written communication
  • Bilingual (English and French)
  • Excellent analytical and time management skills
  • Teamwork skills with a problem-solving attitude

Description:

Online Marketing at Media Experts is in steady growth and we are looking to expand our team of Search Marketing Systems experts.  The Coordinator, Search Marketing Systems will be an integral member of the Search Experts™ team, work closely with our Digital Media Systems and Planning Teams and be responsible for the following duties:

  • Assist on all administrative functions of the Search Marketing Systems department. These may include proof of purchase reports, reconciling campaigns, media purchase authorizations, budget pacing reports and more.
  • Help Analysts (PPC and SEO) with keyword research, creative writing, ad copy testing, day-to-day management of pay per click campaigns, optimization implementations, data analysis, reporting, power point presentations, local listings management, other media integration and more.

Analyst, Search Marketing Systems

We are actively seeking an Analyst, Search Marketing Systems (PPC), in our Montreal office. The ideal candidate will become an integral member of our Digital Media Systems team while also working closely with our customers and account teams.

What you’d be doing day-to-day:

  • Develop, implement, manage, optimize and report on Pay per Click (PPC) campaigns for various customers across a variety of online publishers including Google, BING
  • Conduct keyword research, analysis, bucketing, and matching in order to develop quality keyword lists
  • Create promotional text ads for use with a variety of campaigns across different publishers.
  • Monitor and report on PPC campaign performance through the use of Web Analytics Software, Bid Management Platforms
  • Effectively optimize campaigns to drive performance improvements
  • Devise creative and integrated strategies, develop A/B tests and innovate to break through the clutter in the search results pages
  • Communicate effectively with internal account teams (offline and online) in order to make sure integrated marketing campaigns preserve a 100% Tradigital approach.
  • Stay abreast of the latest trends in the Search Marketing industry in North America through constant research, article reading, webinars and industry events.

  • Experience with DoubleClick Search, Adobe Marketing Cloud, and DCM is an asset.
  • Google AdWords Advanced and BING Ads Certification required.
  • Knowledge and experience in Paid Social Media Marketing is an asset.
  • Experience with A/B and/or Multivariate testing concepts is an asset. (Required if Senior)

Supervisor, Media Planner

This position requires a 360-degree overview of media to develop and manage client media strategies, plan execution and analysis, and mentor and develop a team of staff members. Qualifications:

  • Over 3 years of senior media planning experience, including team management experience.
  • Deep 360-degree understanding of all media planning and buying disciplines (digital and traditional)
  • Educational background in a related field (media, advertising, marketing) or equivalent work experience
  • Proven ability to develop and maintain strong professional relationships with clients, colleagues and vendors
  • Experience in managing or developing staff, with strong leadership, mentoring and coaching skills
  • Strong planning background with the ability to lead the media planning process
  • Proven knowledge of traditional and digital planning and research tools and resources.
  • Exceptional communication skills in English, both oral and written
