Today is Bell Let’s Talk Day
Since September 2010, Bell has been putting efforts into deploying a massive awareness-building campaign to help move mental health forward in Canada. They have committed to donating $155 million dollars to the cause by 2025. Last year, they pivoted the responsibility from Canadians (who had to take actions to help raise funds) to themselves, by directly pledging donations to the cause and instead allowing Canadians to focus on creating real C-H-A-N-G-E in these simple ways in their day to day lives:
C – choose mental health organizations to learn about
H – help a friend
A – ask about mental health supports
N – nurture your own well-being
G – get involved
E – engage in conversation
Since spearheading Bell Let’s Talk in 2011, Media Experts has played an integral role in increasing awareness and expanding reach year after year. Our passion for this campaign continues to grow, as statistics show its importance is more relevant than ever.
