 Position Summary

Reporting to the manager of investments, the Investment specialist is responsible for managing and executing client’s media buys in digital specifically. The Specialist works closely with the rest of the media team to understand campaign briefs, work with vendor partners to recommend a plan, and ensure the media is secured and ready to be billed to the client.

Job Responsibilities

  • In partnership with the media planning team address technical concerns, timing, and campaign expectations.
  • Proactively advise the team of any variations to execution of media plans
  • Dashboard maintenance.
  • Pacing / Reporting (execution).
  • Assist planning with campaign execution.
  • Work with media partners to ensure all relevant information is received to accurately maintain media buys.

POSITION SUMMARY: 

This pivotal role touches on all points of the digital performance process, platform execution, and customer service. We need someone who is agile, solution focused, and dedicated to supporting your immediate team as well as overall campaign objectives. 

You will create digital strategies in collaboration with ourplanning teams and work alongside our specialized business units to overseeing the teams day-to-day with key focus on ensuring successful campaign launch, pacing, and delivery across all channels. You will also participate and provide strategy recommendations to increase overall digital media performance. 

To help take our media strategy, planning and execution to the next level, you will apply your experience within Google Display and Video 360 (DBM), Campaign Manager, Google Analytics, Google Ads (AdWords), Facebook Ads Manager and any other digital media or analytics platform that you have worked with. 

The role requires strong leadership to provide effective media counsel to both staff and clients, passion for strategy and dedication towards delivering exceptional work. 

 

A bit about your responsibilities: 

  • Act as theperformance media expert, with emphases on search, social and programmatic, for strategy, innovation and trainings for our key clients. 
  • Develop a roadmap to digital maturity for clients and help guide them along the path, navigating new trends and the changing digital landscapeto meet business KPIs. 
  • Support integration acrossdigital teams and functional lines at Media Experts. 
  • Establish and grow strong client, team, and agency relationships.
  • Obsessively monitor in market campaigns and provide timelyand data-driven recommendations for improving performance and overall media efficiency. 
  • Actively participate and provide thought leadership during campaign briefings and other related digital media presentations.
  • Continually monitor and identify areas of both opportunity and risk with regards to achieving business objectives.
  • Cultivate an ongoing understanding of client business, operations, and marketing strategies and how these relate to media and communication strategies including trends, issues, and position papers.
  • Inspire and lead the team in the development of creative, innovative, and on-strategy media solutionsthat will move the performance needle. 

A bit about you: 

  • You can provide strategic council and thought leadership for clients with advanced digital maturity.
  • You are a star witha combination of Google Ads, SA360, DV360, Trade Desk, Amazon, Verizon or any other Demand Side and Social Media  
  • You know the Canadian media landscape like the back of your hand.
  • You’re familiar with DoubleClick Campaign Manager and the mechanics of ad servingand measurement. 
  • You’re comfortable with Facebook Ad Manager and Power Editor.
  • You’re a familiar with GoogleAds Display Network and YouTube  
  • Google Analytics and Adobe Analytics aren’t a problem for you. You can deep-dive into data and use web analytics to provide sound recommendations.
  • You can knock out a competitive analysis and digital research project with ease.

Senior Analyst, Search Marketing

Position Summary

We are actively seeking a Senior Analyst, Search Marketing Systems (PPC). The ideal candidate will become an integral member of our Digital Media Systems team while also working closely with our customers and account teams.

 

Job Responsibilities

  • Help in leading and mentoring junior SEM Analysts & Coordinators.
  • Provide thought leadership and driving strategy for some of Canada’s top SEM accounts Perform ouput quality control (reports, post analyses, campaign setups, etc.).
  • Monitor campaign budgets being managed by junior members to respect deadlines. Develop, implement, manage and optimize Pay per Click (PPC) campaigns for various customers across a variety of online publishers including Google and Bing Ads.
  • Conduct keyword research, analysis, bucketing, and matching in order to develop quality keyword lists for both PPC and SEO purposes.
  • Create promotional text ads for use with a variety of campaigns across different publishers and develop ad testing programs.
  • Report on PPC campaign performance through the use of Web Analytics Software, Bid Management Platforms, Excel, Power Point and proprietary or 3rd party reporting tools.
  • Help to develop, implement, analyze and communicate on PPC and SEO synergies.
  • Participate in campaign briefings, meetings, presentations, and reporting calls.
  • Stay abreast of the latest trends in the Search Marketing industry in North America through constant research, article reading, webinars, and industry events.

 

Desired Skills & Experience

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in Search Marketing (PPC).
  • Minimum 2 years of client service and/or customer management experience in an agency environment.
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Statistics, or a related field.
  • Experience managing, mentoring, supervising, and coaching small teams.
  • Proven success in managing, optimizing, and reporting on PPC campaigns.
  • Ability to integrate and synergize PPC and SEO campaigns for maximum impact.
  • Solid understanding of how other media activities affect PPC, SEO and Paid Social campaigns.
  • Strong analytical skills to generate actionable insights from data interpretation.
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Suite, Google Analytics, and Adobe Site Catalyst.
  • Impeccable written and verbal communication skills in both English and French.
  • Experience with DoubleClick Search, Adobe Marketing Cloud, and DCM is an asset.
  • Google AdWords Advanced and BING Ads Certification required.
  • Knowledge and experience in Paid Social Media Marketing is an asset.
  • Experience with A/B and/or Multivariate testing concepts.
