Shoppable Girls Hits the Streets of Toronto

Sex trafficking is a $1 billion a year industry in Canada, and victims are recruited as young as 13. To raise awareness, Covenant House, Taxi, and Media Experts took action. Under the banner “Shoppable Girls,” the faux retail ads show teen girls modeling clothes, but when users navigate to a microsite, it’s revealed that the girls themselves are for sale. This powerful campaign targeting the Toronto core launched with a guerilla marketing storefront activation and includes a heavy social push, OOH, DOOH at Young and Dundas, and print.
