WestJet and Media Experts win Gold at the Shorty Awards

Big news coming our way straight out of New York City. In collaboration with WestJet and Studio M, our teams at Media Experts and Society @ ME won Gold, Best Facebook Partnership, at the 2018 Shorty Awards for our WestJet Christmas Miracle campaign. Hosted out of New York City, the Shorty Awards is the most prominent award show of its kind, honor the best of social media on the international stage.

WestJet’s Christmas campaign is a highly anticipated annual event for media and fans of the brand alike. The goal this year was to extend the earned media value of the usual one-day launch into a multi-week media event by leveraging serious social clout. To accomplish this, we developed a bold plan, one that captured sustained attention online and in the media while spreading the joy of the season to Canadians from coast to coast.
