joey elias and the comedy all-stars 2026

Joey Elias and the Comedy All-Stars: An Evening of Hilarity for the Benefit of On Our Own (O3) returns for its 15th consecutive year, continuing a legacy of laughter and generosity in support of one of Montreal’s most impactful grassroots organizations. Hosted by Media Experts and powered by a coalition of its media vendor partners, the annual event has now raised over $1 million for O3’s life-changing programming.

This year’s show will take place Thursday, September 24th at Club Soda, Montreal’s legendary comedy venue. For this 15th edition, Joey Elias will once again take the stage, and his co-hosts from TSN 690, Sean Campbell and Mitch Gallo of Campbell vs. Gallo, will also be making a special appearance. This year’s lineup features local favourites Alasdair Tremblay – Birchall, Andrew Khoury, and Jon Controcois.

Thanks to the support of a private family foundation, covering all of the overhead, 100% of the event’s revenue goes directly to O3.

“This show is a cornerstone of our agency’s culture of care,” says Karel Wegert, CEO of Media Experts. “For 15 years, this event has demonstrated what can happen when our industry comes together around a shared purpose. It is an evening filled with laughter, but its impact extends far beyond the stage, helps young parents (many of whom are single moms) and their children under 5 with the support, opportunities and confidence they need to thrive.”

On Our Own (O3) is a Montreal-based non-profit that helps young families, and their young children transition out of poverty by providing affordable housing, education, parenting support, and life skills. The revenue from this annual fundraiser represents the largest single gift O3 receives each year, allowing them to give 29 young families in peril the building blocks to stabilize and grow a better future for themselves.

As the cost of living continues to climb, demand for O3’s services is rising. Their programs — delivered with a trauma-informed and culturally responsive lens — offer not just safety and shelter, but also long-term empowerment. Young parents are guided from crisis to confidence, equipped with tools to re-build brighter futures.

“The generosity behind this event gives our families more than immediate support—it gives them choices, opportunities and a stronger foundation for the future. Every ticket purchased and every donation received helps a mom or young family move closer to lasting independence for her and her child.” explains Amanda Murphy, Director of O3.

In 2026, young families leaving O3 are facing a challenging reality: a competitive housing market, rising living costs, complex school systems, and the demands of balancing education, employment, and parenthood. At O3, they know that moving out is only the beginning of the journey, which is why they’re focused on ensuring every resident leaves equipped to succeed. With the generous support of donors, O3 is  investing in three key priorities: building financial confidence and housing readiness, strengthening parenting skills, and expanding education and employment supports. Together, these initiatives will give young families the tools, knowledge, and confidence they need to build stable, independent futures.

It's my family's privilege to be able to cover the event’s operating costs so that every dollar raised can go directly to O3 and the young families who rely on its essential programs.” says Mark Sherman, Founder of Media Experts.

Building on the success of past events that have collectively raised over $1 million, the organizing committee is optimistic about setting a new annual fundraising record this year. Each event continues to make a significant impact on the lives of young parents and their infants in the community, and there is great excitement to see how much more can be achieved.

Tickets are $50, with $25 tax deductible. Doors open at 6 PM, with the show starting at 7 PM.
